Cooper (00:08):

You have to talk to me, Murph. I need to fix this before I go.

Murph (00:15):

I'll keep it broken so you have to stay.

Cooper (00:20):

After you kids came along, your mom, she said something to me I never quite understood. She said, "Now we're just here to be memories for our kids." I think I now understand what you meant. Once you're a parent, you're the ghost of your children's future.

Murph (00:49):

You say ghosts didn't exist.

Cooper (01:08):

That's right, Murph. Look at me. I can't be your ghost right now. I need to exist. They chose me. Murph, they chose me. You saw it, you're the one who led me to them.

Murph (01:24):

That's exactly why you can't go. I figured out the message. One word. You know what it is?

Cooper (01:34):

Murph.

Murph (01:36):

Stay. It says stay, dad.

Cooper (01:41):

Murph.

Murph (01:41):

You don't believe me. Look at the books. Look at this. It says stay. Why ... You're not listening. It says stay.

Cooper (01:48):

I'm coming back.

Murph (01:48):

When?

Cooper (02:07):

One for you. One for me. When I'm up there in hypersleep or traveling near the speed of light or near a black hole, time's going to change for me and it's going to run more slowly. When we get back, we're going to compare.

Murph (02:24):

Time will run differently for us.

Cooper (02:32):

Yeah. I mean, by the time I get back, we hope we might even be the same age, you and me. What? Imagine that. Murph.

Murph (02:36):

You have no idea when you're coming back. No idea at all.

Cooper (02:56):

Murph.

(02:56)
Murph, don't make me leave like this. Come on, Murph. Don't make me leave like this, Murph.

(03:01)
Hey, I love you forever. You hear me? I love you forever and I'm coming back. I'm coming back.

Donald (03:43):

How'd it go?

Cooper (03:46):

Fine. It's fine.

(03:46)
Bye, Tom.

Tom (03:58):

Travel safely.

Cooper (03:58):

You look after our place for me, all right? All right?

Tom (04:07):

Uh-huh.

(04:07)
Hey, can I use your truck while you're gone?

Cooper (04:08):

You mean your truck? I'll make sure they bring it back.

(04:09)
Look after my kids, Donald.

Speaker 5 (04:30):

Go for main engine start T minus 10-

Murph (04:33):

Dad.

Speaker 5 (04:33):

... nine-

Murph (04:33):

Dad.

Speaker 5 (04:33):

... eight, seven-

Murph (04:33):

Dad.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
