Preparing for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

How about the Mockettes, instead of the Rockettes? They are doing their routine. I think we can say it is officially a holiday week. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody, happy Thanksgiving. It’s always a special night to stand here with 34th Street closed, in front of Macy’s. Check out who else was hanging out here tonight.

Look who’s stopping traffic on 34th Street: it’s Jordan Sparks, the singer and actress appearing with Boss Kids. The dance trip from New Jersey will gladly show their moves and introduce themselves.

Boss Kids is a multi talented group, who do many different genres of dance, and we stay in New York.

I grew up watching Macy Day’s Parade, so this is going to be fun. And watch our baby girl.

The street is a stage. Paula Abdul knows how to hit the mark in front of Macy’s.

This is childhood bucket list for me. I cannot believe all these years later, I’m here. I dreamt about this as a kid.

Tomorrow, we will have the full family here. They’re all playing in, we’re all going to have such a good time on this float, and it’s iconic.

Born and raised in New York. Actually, we’ve been to the parade just once: it was a lot of fun.

People usually come to Macy’s for the shopping, not in the evenings before Thanksgiving Day.

We watch the parade every year and we’re pumped to be here.

This moment right here when the parade arrives is a really spectacular one. And we’ve got an action packed show for everyone this year.

And they are ready to put it on: 16 giant character balloons, 28 floats, 800 clowns, 12 marching bands. Seeing the student performers is definitely always a highlight for me. And the tradition continues tomorrow, with the balloon inflation on the Upper West Side.
